Hannah Murphy is a third-year photojournalism student currently attending Rochester Institute of Technology, with an immersion in dance. Within her photographic work, her north star is creating work with an emphasis on emotion and empathy. Hannah’s main focus lies in working with dancers, those in the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities community, along with any other stories built on the foundation of connection and human experience.

Outside of her academic career, Hannah currently holds the position of RIT National Press Photographers Association Vice President and RIT Vis Viva Dance Company Secretary.
